Job Title:               National Account Manager

Location:               Home Based

Package:               Up to £50-£70k + Private Medical Cover +25 days holiday + Pension

We’re working exclusively with a Personal Care, Beauty & Home Care business who have demonstrated consistent growth over many years.

The growth is supported by continuous investment and improvement to build even stronger foundations to allow them to deliver to their clients. This way of working has enabled them to win a number of new projects working with global blue-chip branded clients across the world.

Due to this record of continued growth, they are currently searching for a talented Business Development Manager /National Account Manager to manage one or two blue-chip clients located in the UK / Europe / USA.

The role requires strong demonstrable account management / business development skills and the ability to create multi-level relationships across multiple touch points.  Experience in Health and Beauty/Homecare in a B2B /Contract manufacturing environment or a National account manager experienced in the top 5 multiples looking for a new challenge would be advantageous.

Everyday in this business is different, you would be the client’s main point of contact working within and supported by a close-knit team across multiple sites across Europe.

Continued success will be measured by the delivery of new branded business and collaboratively bringing them to life with the client’s teams in our manufacturing facilities across Europe.

Main Responsibilities/requirements for the role:

  • Plan and develop opportunities with the clients on a day to day basis.
  • Strengthen and build strong relationships with all internal and external customers to help identify and deliver solutions to the clients
  • Ownership of budgets/pricing and contract implementation is key to this role as is commercial acumen.
  • A “Can Do” attitude is a mantra to this team as every day is different with changing challenges
  • Commercial analysis of project creation and submission will be a key element of the role for existing/new clients
  • Conduct research to identify potential business opportunities and target market for products and services, using all available medium
  • Monthly sales reporting to the team
  • Microsoft office skills and the knowledge of SAP would be advantageous


The role will be home based, and it’s anticipated that the role will involve monthly European travel for up to three/four days and a flexible approach is expected.

The basic salary for the role is up to £60,000 and you’ll benefit from full private medical cover & pension  as well as a range of other benefits.
