Junior Brand Manager – FMCG

We are currently looking for a Junior Brand Manager to work for a fantastic business within the FMCG industry. They have a great reputation throughout the sector and their products can be seen in all of the major retailers both in the UK and internationally

Job Summary:

Responsible for conceiving and developing efficient and intuitive marketing strategies whilst ensuring all digital content, in store artwork and presentations are relevant, correct and fit for purpose to present to UK retailers. Organising and overseeing advertising and communication campaigns alongside the brand owners. Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.

The Role:

  • Responsible for all Brand collateral; ensuring brand presentations etc. are relevant and correct and fit for purpose to present to UK Retail customers
  • Continually plan, develop and improve brand strategy
  • Monitor and improve company’s delivery of brand strategy
  • Lead commercial development of the brand
  • Responsible for social media copy and content
  • Initiates, completes, and submits all briefing docs to brand for artwork for in store and/ or digital content working within customer guidelines and brand critical path timings.
  • Understand consumer needs within sector and how the brand is performing vs. other brands.
  • Manages the budgets set out by SBM from A & P and from brand agreements (monitor/ investigate alternative (approved) suppliers for competitive quotes)
  • Supporting Senior Brand Manager with new brand set up - comp reviews, presentations, and pricing information
  • Communication of Strategy to rest of organisation
  • Maintain and review brand pages on .com and digital customers and brief updates on products and campaigns where necessary
  • Responsible for working with brand owners to initiate social & digital activities, collate and evaluate all results from social and digital activity (not promotions)
  • Attendance at key customer marketing meetings where necessary / internal meetings
  • Marketing Evidence and Results - collation of, where needed

Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 plus bonuses
