Role: Brand Manager – Cosmetics/Skincare

Location: Manchester

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

We’re currently working with a great business based in Manchester and their well-known brands can be seen in retail and departments stores globally. Due to growth, they’re looking for an enthusiastic Brand Manager with creative flair and experience with cosmetics/skincare products.

Reporting to the Brand Director, the individual will have a challenger mind-set, an entrepreneurial and business minded spirit, and be a team player. Flexible and adaptable, the role requires enthusiasm and curiosity. Collaborative working and positive thinking, the company has a very approachable spirit and would want the individual to bring huge passion and energy to the role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

To oversee all areas of the cosmetics/skincare brands as well as supporting the BD in successful management of Brand Owner relationship in order to maximise commercial potential of products, achieving budgets set by their internal leadership team.

Brand Management

  • Own the overall brand P&L and present annual budget & brand strategy to the Leadership team
  • Support Brand Director in day to day relationship with Brand Owner collaborating in defining best strategy to manage relationship
  • Liaise and obtain sign off for all creative assets and communication tools for markets, maximising on all opportunities
  • Be a brand expert, be clear on the Brand DNA, champion new news and initiatives
  • Accompany Sales Account Managers on sales/prospecting visits to key accounts and markets
  • Define Worldwide RRP strategy
  • Attend key trade shows


  • Experience as a brand manager within the beauty industry (ideally cosmetics)
  • Brand strategy & positioning expertise with strong concept & communication skills combined with agency management skills (research, communication, PR…),
  • Consumer focus and understanding, with experience/knowledge in digital marketing
  • Strong product sensibility with development skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications, excellent presentation skills, as well as an ability to communicate with multiple cultures.
